By far the two things I love the most about being a destination wedding photographer is the experience of seeing a new place for the first time and stepping outside of the box and meeting new people.
My friend and amazing photographer Sarah (http://www.babcockstudio.com) and I had the opportunity to work together for a beautiful wedding in the heart of Portland. We took this opportunity to do 3 styled shoots while we were there. Sarah took care of lining us up with some amazing dress from Brides for a cause and she did all of the flowers the morning of the shoots. I can't wait to see her images!
We reached out to Jessica & Casey about a month from our trip to Portland. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful landscapes that Oregon has to offer. Jessica & Casey not only agreed to do a photoshoot but was so excited and up for any adventure.
We spent the morning driving the coast and finding the perfect spot for the shoot. We stumbled across this beautiful area 1 1/2 hours south of Cannon Beach called Cape Kiwanda. It's a amazingly beautiful area with lots of unique opportunities for photos.
While I was there I couldn't help but breaking out the drone for some aerials.
