David Schmaus has always been attracted to the arts since his mother signed him up for a oil painting class at age 8. Combined with his love of travel and culture, he has built his successful destination wedding Photography & Videography business around great relationships with his clients

Since 2012, David Schmaus Films and Photographs has quickly grown and his work has been featured in the most respected photography periodicals such as: The Knot, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, The Well Groomed Man and Inside Weddings.

I am a non-traditional, non-cheesy destination wedding photographer. Sometimes goofy, spontaneous, romantic and sarcastic. I am a big dream who loves to travel.  I capture real moments, genome smiles and raw emotion.

Over the past 4 years I have captured wonderful moments in Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, France, Jamaica and Mexico.  Moments that will last a lifetime.
